Victory for the First Amendment


Today the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the First Amendment protects the free speech rights of protesters at funerals without regard to whether they are outrageous or cause distress. By protecting offensive speech that we least want to hear, the court affirms the freedom we all enjoy to say whatever we want to say.
