Dueling beer billboards

Stella is running billboards and transit ads that emphasize the luxury qualities of the beer brand with lines like, “It’s not a glass, it’s a chalice.” Rival beer Newcastle is calling them out on how ridiculous this is.

Ha! Nice move. It reminds me of the dueling Audi-BMW billboards in California a while back.

Unclear where this billboard arrangement actually exists. The photo appears to be a handout from the ad agency. Spotted via Best Roof Talk Ever, Adweek, and Campaign.
